Beautiful Places to Get Married in New York

New York is host to a number of romantic places, iconic and historic. If your wedding plans include getting married somewhere in the city that never sleeps, do yourself a favor and consider first what you want from your wedding. Once you select your preferences, such as inside or out, start reducing the places that coincide with the ceremony of reception and desires.

Angel Centre Oresanz
If you want your wedding to take place in a traditional, like a church, Oresanz reserves the Angel Centre. This building was created in 1849 as a synagogue and is the oldest Reform synagogue in the United States. The center has an elegant design with incredible lighting and has space for 300 people but can also accommodate smaller ceremonies and receptions. Because of the way in which the center is created, you can use different places around the building for the ceremony, reception and even a cocktail on the balcony. If the bride needs some breathing space, there is also a private room with private bathroom for her and her entourage.

Central Park Boat HouseFor a beautiful wedding, look no farther than the Central Park Boat House. The boathouse, located on the eastern end side of the lake in Central Park, allows for a grand entrance on a traditional Venetian gondola and brilliant lighting during evening events. If your wedding day vision includes something by the water, the boat house is the only location in the entire park that allows waterside events. The boat house has a variety of options for the ceremony or reception, including the beautiful, indoor Lake Room and the outdoor Conservatory Gardens.

Prince George BallroomThe ballroom, located in Manhattan's historic district, was designed at the beginning of the 19th century and is filled with neo-Renaissance decorations and details, including an ornamented ceiling and oak floors. The ballroom is for a bride who truly wants to feel like a princess on her wedding day. The ballroom can hold 299 guests, and ceremonies and receptions really come to life in the evening hours, as the lighting becomes magical, bouncing off the giant marble mantelpiece and plasterwork along the walls.
