Fun Places In San Francisco's Golden Gate Park

California is one of the most exciting state in the country, both to live and visit. I lived in California for half of my life and I have no desire to leave the state. I also enjoyed the tour most of the state, from the mountain. Shasta to Yosemite to San Diego to Palm Springs. California is definitely not to be missed!

I visited California for the first time in six years, along with the rest of my family. My parents took my sister and me to Disneyland on my sixth birthday and loved it! We also visited San Francisco, San Diego, and Big Sur on the trip. My only unpleasant experience was dizzy in Big Sur, because of my father driving fast along the winding coastal highway 1.

My family moved from Cleveland to San Francisco when he was eight. For years, all boasted of how much improvement it was. In fact, San Francisco is one of the most beautiful in the world, in my opinion. Now I live in Los Angeles, but I still visit the city by the bay with four or five times a year. Fun places to visit in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, The Embarcadero, Fisherman's Wharf and the Presidio.

Los Angeles is another very exciting city. The area of Los Angeles is home to Disneyland, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Laguna Beach. I like living in Los Angeles, despite dealing with the high volume of traffic on motorways. LA has something to do for everyone.

I used to visit San Diego once a year or less, although I have not been there for several years. San Diego is another fun place. In particular, I used to enjoy Balboa Park, home to the world famous San Diego Zoo and several museums. La Jolla, the locale of the Black Beach and the University of California San Diego, is another nice place, near San Diego.

Another interesting thing to see in California are the national parks. California has eight national parks, more than any other state except Alaska, which also has eight. My parents first took me to Yosemite when I was nine and I loved it! I was amazed by the beauty of Yosemite Valley, including Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and El Capitan. Since then, I've been back about 20 times.

All-in-all, California is not to be missed!

Best Places To Go During The Winter To Escape The Cold Snap

There are places not far many fun to go during the winter to escape the cold snap. My favorites are: California, Florida, Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean. (Actually, I live in California, so you have to go there on vacation!)

California is my favorite state. I lived there for about half of my life and I never tire of it. Both the northern and southern California are very interesting in many ways. When people think of California, we usually think in southern California - the beaches, Hollywood and Disneyland. These are all fun places to visit. The three main large cities in Southern California in Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara.

Northern California is another world. San Francisco is a beautiful, big old surrounded by water on three sides, San Francisco Bay to the east, the Golden Gate to the north and the west Pacific Ocean. The Bay Area, the San Francisco metropolitan area, is composed of nine counties along the Bay of San Francisco and is one of the largest metropolitan areas. Includes San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Rafael, Santa Rosa and San Jose.

Hawaii is the southernmost state. It consists of eight islands: Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe and Hawaii. Hawaii is geographically the largest island and home of the volcano Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain in the islands. All islands were formed from volcanoes. Honolulu, the capital and largest city of Hawaii, is on the island of Oahu. Hawaii also has many beautiful beaches.

Florida is another great state with lots of sunshine and good beaches. Fun places to visit in Florida include Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Daytona and the Florida Keys, Key West, in particular. Orlando has many theme parks, including Walt Disney World and Sea World.

From Florida to the Caribbean is easy to reach by boat. A cruise is the best way to explore the Caribbean islands, including the Bahamas, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Martinique and Puerto Rico. The islands are beautiful but very poor. However, the natives are very friendly.

Mexico is another great place to travel during the winter. In addition to Tijuana, a landfill, the only places I have visited in Mexico are Cancun and the peninsula of Yukito, which are very beautiful. Cancun is one of the many resort towns in Mexico, built especially for tourists, some that are Acapulco, Mazatlan and Puerto Vaerte. To see the real Mexico, you need to take day trips to these cities. The Chichen Itsa a fabulous Mayan pyramid on the peninsula Yukito, an easy day trip from Cancun.

Two Places To Live Outside The Sacramento Area

The capital of California is Sacramento and there are several places to live outside the Sacramento area. Roseville and Rancho Cordova, are two cities that should be considered if you live in northern California region. This article focuses on the different things that these two cities have to offer and why they are nice places to live, apart from being located in the beautiful northern California. The owner of a catering company serving corporate Rancho Cordova some of the best meals in the BBQ Roseville says that he would live in any other community in Roseville or Rancho Cordova for many different reasons.

The first city, Roseville has a population of just over 100,000, but is growing constantly waiting to be closer to almost 134 000 in 2015. The Roseville area is over 30 square miles big and has several beautiful streams running through the city called Dry Creek, Caleta Linda, and Cirby Secret Ravine Creek. This city has a beautiful and lush vegetation that is so common in Northern California with cold weather puts additional rainfall. Most rain falls during the coldest winter and summer are usually hot and dry in Roseville. The Roseville CNN Money ranked as one of the best places to live in 2006. Another classification showed this city to be the skinniest city in the country with a BMI of only 24.5. This may explain why there are a number of professional and Olympic athletes from Roseville.

Roseville has a strong economy with lots of retail outlets there. It is the place of one of the largest malls in the country car that helps the local community, besides being known for a lot of options. The city ranked as the highest retail sales in 11 of the entire state of California last year with its variety of options. It is known as a regional shopping destination with people who travel there for shopping. The main destination is the Westfield Galleria, which continues to expand and the street is another outlet called Fuentes. They hope once the economy improves, so will the things in this great city of Roseville.

There are several other large employers such as Hewlett-Packard Roseville, Kaiser Permanente, Union Pacific Railroad, and Sutter Roseville Medical Center is considered as some of the larger companies. In 1988 Roseville decided to undergo a revitalization of the downtown area of improvement of many historic buildings were falling apart.

Rancho Cordova is a new community that was established in 2003 and now has a population of 60,000. It was named after the vineyards of Córdoba who were there. It is a diverse mix of residents and many famous professional baseball players also came from Rancho Cordova, such as Chris Bosio and Max Venable. Another notable resident is Lester Holt of The Today Show.
